If you believe in a beautiful, fair world – you have to do something for it

These dresses don’t just look fantastic: they also have a great environmental balance. The collection SWING green is based on carefully selected fabrics made of organic cotton as well  as recycled materials. SWING green dresses are produced and sewn in Europe – from the collar to the hem – in close cooperation with our supplying companies and factories, fairly and ecologically, in amfori BSCI certified production facilities. And SWING does even more to provide comprehensive environmental protection.

SWING is climate neutral

What does this mean exactly? Absolutely all of the unavoidable emissions produced by the SWING headquarters are completely offset by the support of the climate protection project „Forest Protection in Pará, Brazil“. The project in Pará protects 90,000 hectares of wood and prohibits commercial deforestation. This helps to preserve the biodiversity of the Amazon as well as to provide the population with jobs and education, thus offering prospects of a future. This is exactly our way of doing things. Because sustainability is part of our self-imposed responsibility.

Sustainability is more than just a trend: #everydayforfuture

SWING assumes responsibility – and this goes beyond the actual SWING green dresses: the hangtags are made of recycled paper and are knotted with fabric ribbons. The hangers which are supplied with the dresses consist to 35 % out of grass. The plastic consumption caused during shipping is reduced to an absolute minimum. And, for every dress sold from the spring/summer 2020 collection, the Plant My Tree initiative planted a tree on behalf of SWING.

Why do we do all this?

Because we have understood our customers’ desire for fair fashion. Because we share this desire. And because we, as a company, are convinced that dresses only acquire a personality if they are sustainable.
